📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Twice As Nice. The SEC named not one, but two Tigers to the weekly award list after the win over Missouri. Jayden Daniels was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week and Emery Jones was named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week. This is QB1’s third SEC Player of the Week honor this season. On Saturday, he became the first player in LSU history to account for four touchdowns in five-straight games. Emery Jones played a big part in the rushing game that produced 274 yards.

Jayden Daniels also landed on the Davey O’Brien Great 8 list for Week 6. Coach Brian Kelly joined the Paul Finebaum Show to talk about the win.

🔼 First Timers. Two men’s tennis Tigers competed at the Golden Eagle Fall Invitational over the weekend and secured some wins. Alessio Vasquez went undefeated in singles. He joined Brock Anderson in doubles and picked up a couple of wins. Brock also earned his first collegiate wins in singles. It was overall a good weekend for the two freshmen on the court!

🔼 Teammate Tie. The women’s golf team played two rounds at the Illini Invitational yesterday and sit in first-place. Latanna Stone and Ingrid Lindblad are tied for first-place individually. The Tigers lead by 6 strokes as they sit at -14. The final round will be played today!

🔼  Start Us Off. The men’s golf team opened the Jackson T. Stephens Cup with a 19-under 269. Noah McWilliams started his LSU career with birdies in the first five holes and an eagle on the seventh! Connor Gaunt led the Tigers with a career-low round of 8-under 64. Lance Yates also shot the lowest round of his career. The second round was delayed and will resume this morning.
