🔼 Untamable. Tiger golfers Ingrid Lindblad and Latanna Stone couldn’t decide on a winner after three rounds, so they tied for first-place! The two shot 207 individually and led the Tigers to a first-place team finish at the Illini Women’s Invitational. Aine Donegan and Carla Tejedo tied for ninth-place. The win was the team’s first of the fall season and Ingrid’s second co-medal.

🔼 Must See TV. The women’s basketball season opener in Las Vegas will be live on TNT! The Tigers will play Colorado at 6:30pm in the Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas on November 6. USC vs. Kansas State men’s basketball will follow the LSU game. It’ll be a star-studded night on TNT, there might even be an appearance from Shaq himself!

🔼 Practice Makes Perfect. The baseball team continues to play their intra-squad scrimmages this week. They’ll play at 3:30pm on Thursday and Friday and 12:30pm on Sunday. All are free and open to the public at Alex Box Stadium. You won’t want to miss out on the first looks of the newcomers.

🔼 Dive Deep. LSU women’s diver Montserrat Gutierrez Lavenant was named SEC Co-Female Diver of the Week! She picked up two second-place finishes, one in the one-meter and one in the three-meter dive, at Utah last weekend.

🔼  ‘Bout That Time. LSU gymnastics head coach Jay Clark joins this week's edition of Play by Play, presented by The Advocate. He previews his 2023-24 roster that's loaded with talent, comprised of six super seniors, five four-year seniors, four juniors, three sophomores and five freshmen. The Tigers will start the season on January 5 as they host Ohio State.
