Good morning. Visiting the Governor of Louisiana is a pretty big deal, check out the women’s basketball team’s trip to the Governor’s Mansion to celebrate the National Championship!

🔼 We’re Number 1. The 3rd ranked LSU women’s golf team earned the 1 seed in the NCAA Palm Beach Gardens Regional. This is the 26th time in 30 years they have made it to the NCAA Golf Regional Round. LSU is looking for another trip to the NCAA Championship for the third straight year. The fun takes place May 8-10!
🔼 Roll With It. LSU Tigers have been putting the “student” in “student-athlete,” Tigers dominated the Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll list. 29 members of swimming and diving were named to the list. Gymnastics had 13 members make the Honor Roll. Men’s basketball had two members make the list and women’s basketball had one.
🔼 Beachin’. Beach volleyball kicks off the CCSA Tournament today, playing Missouri State and Florida State later if they advance. The Tigers are currently No. 6 in the AVCA Poll and finished the regular season 24-10. Kylie DeBerg and Ellie Shank were featured on the CCSA All-Conference Team and Melia Lindner made the All-Academic Team.
🔼 Legendary. Former Tiger Todd Walker was named to the 2023 SEC Baseball Legends class. He was a student-athlete at LSU from 1992-1994 and was first team All-SEC three times and SEC Player of the Year. He also won the College World Series Most Outstanding Player award when the Tigers won the 1993 national championship. He was the 11th athlete or coach in any sport to have his jersey retired at LSU.
Mike The Tiger. LSU has a very unique mascot in Mike the Tiger. He’s a live Bengal Tiger that lives between Tiger Stadium and the PMAC.
