The Path. As SEC play begins, the distractions only get louder. To win requires focus, and no player is more suited to canceling out the noise than quarterback Jayden Daniels. The Tigers’ calm, cool, and collected quarterback leads his team into Starkville, determined to silence the bells and make a statement to the rest of the conference.

Play By Play. Dr. Sam Nader will earn a Distinguished Honor and be inducted into the LSU Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday for his service and commitment to LSU Football for 46 years. He joined Chris Blair and Kent Lowe on the latest edition of Play by Play, presented by The Advocate, to share his stories, wisdom, and insights ahead of Friday’s ceremony.

🔼 Where Were We? The women’s basketball team is picking up right where they left off, on top of the world. ESPN ranked the Tigers at No. 1 overall in their 68-team projection. Click here to see the entire bracket!

The Tigers have had a very busy offseason — from World Cups and public appearances to helping out around the community. Things are finally back to normal and practice is starting September 25! It’s open to the public at 1:30pm on the main floor of the PMAC.

🔼 Jack Al Of All Trades. He was a champion, All-American, captain, serviceman, two-sport star, and much more. Al Coffee is being inducted into the LSU Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday! He won SEC Championships in football and track & field. He was an all-star sprinter, earning 18 All-American honors and was in Track & Field News’ World Top 20 13 times. He also helped the Tigers win the 1970 SEC Championship in football and made two Orange Bowl appearances. Beyond athletics, Al served six years in the National Guard and helped the State Police after Hurricane Katrina. Click here to read more about Al before the induction ceremony one Friday!

🎥 MEET THE NEWCOMER

Meet Aalyah Del Rosario. Today, we’re introducing you to freshman women’s basketball player Aalyah Del Rosario! She moved to New York from the Dominican Republic when she was 12 years old. The 6’6 center was a five-star recruit and the top post player in her class. She played at The Webb School in Tennessee, where she won back-to-back state titles with LSU teammate Angelica Velez. She also took home a Gold Medal at the 2022 FIBA U18 World Cup.
