🔼  Best In The Nation. We never had a doubt that Jayden Daniels was the Heisman Trophy winner, but it became official on Saturday night in New York City. He was named LSU’s third Heisman winner, joining Billy Cannon and Joe Burrow. Jayden received 501 of 870 first-place votes, beating out Michael Penix Jr., Bo Nix, and Marvin Harrison Jr. Check out the celebration with some LSU fans!

This trophy capped a week full of winning for That Kid. On Friday, he won the Davey O’Brien Award and the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award. Earlier in the week, he received the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and was named AP Player of the Year.

🔼 Rattled The Ragin’ Cajuns. Three Tigers scoring in double figures helped seventh-ranked LSU to an 83-53 win over Louisiana-Lafayette. Aneesah Morrow, Mikaylah Williams, and Angel Reese combined for 65 of LSU’s points. Aneesah recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Mikaylah got her first career double-double with 18 points and a career-high 11 boards. She went 4-of-8 from three. Angel was one rebound away from a double-double, scoring 20 points with nine rebounds. They’ll be back in action on Tuesday when McNeese comes to town.

🔼 Forever LSU. Former LSU beach volleyball stars Kristen Nuss and Taryn Kloth continue to be one of the best women’s duos in the world. They won the BPT Championship in Qatar over the weekend! This is their fourth world title in just three seasons on the international stage. They claimed their seventh medal of the season, becoming the second American team to do so.

Speaking of beach volleyball, the 2024 tournament schedule is out now. Check it out!

🔼 Climb High. The gymnastics team came in at No. 3 in the 2024 Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association Preseason Coaches Poll! They sit behind Florida and Oklahoma, who they’ll face on the road this season. They’ll meet with 12 opponents who earned a spot in the poll this season. The Tigers will start the season hosting No. 14 Ohio State on January 5.
