The Vault. LSU takes on Texas this Friday at the Astros College Classic! There have been some classics between these two teams, and you can watch the highlights now in The Vault on LSU GOLD.

🎥 LSU vs. Texas (2020): Sophomore right-handers Cole Henry and Jaden Hill combined for 16 strikeouts to take down the Longhorns.

🎥 LSU vs. Texas (2018): Sophomore pitcher Zach Hess' career-high 10 strikeout performance, coupled with a hot 5-0 start in the first inning launched No. 15 LSU Baseball to a 13-4 win over No. 14 Texas.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Tough Stuff. Thanks to a solid defense and two Will Baker free throws with 15 seconds left, the Tigers took down Georgia, 67-66! Jordan Wright led the team with 17 points and Will Baker was behind him with 12. LSU now has more wins than they did last season. Up next, the Tigers will hit the road to Vanderbilt on Saturday.

🔼 Broken Record. Yesterday, it was National Player of the Week… Today, it’s SEC Player of the Week. That’s right, Angel Reese was named the SEC Player of the Week! This is her fourth conference honor of the season and 11th of her career.

🔼 Where To Watch. LSU baseball is playing at the Astros Foundation College Classic at Minute Maid Park this weekend! There are a few different ways you can watch the Tigers. All games will stream for free on Astros.com and on the Astros X, Facebook, and YouTube channels. All games will also be televised by Space City Home Network in the Astros five-state viewing area — Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. If you’re outside of the area, you can tune into Saturday’s game live on the MLB Network.

🔼 Get Us Started. Before the baseball team gets started at Minute Maid Park, they’ll be taking on Rice tonight at 7 pm. This is the first road game of the season for the Tigers. Fans can expect to see Kade Anderson on the mound for the Tigers and Robert Fernandez for the Owls. Tune in live on ESPN+ and the LSU Sports Radio Network!

🔼 World Class. Two former Tigers were nominated for the 25th Laureus World Sports Awards! Mondo Duplantis was nominated for World Sportsman of the Year and Sha’Carri Richardson was nominated for World Sportswoman of the Year. The Laureus is viewed as the ‘Ultimate Global Athletes’ Award’ and is the gold standard for stars of world sport.
